Why We Started This Site!
Well, out of every business opportunity, out of every get rich scam... Why sell praying mantis'? I think that's got to
be my number 1 question, well this is the answer! Its my favorite hobby as of yet, I think other than dogs, these little insects are
the most entertaining pets to have. I have to many to keep and instead of having hundreds of different mantids and let them go, or
make a cheap site and just sell sell sell, I wanted to make a site where quality out performed quantity, if we have it, it's sure to
be strong, well fed, and never sent pre-seasoned or past its due date! My last reason I have for starting up this site is because I am
passionate about this, I know I'm the best and I know I can out do any cheap site out there (besides our equal cousin sites out there
^_^). Know this, although no one can guarantee your little pet will arrive alive, I promise to make any situation fulfilled to your
happiness, and although I personally will not carry anything close to 2000 species of praying mantis the ones I will carry will last you!

Shipping & Returns
Please note that this is just a hobby for me as of now. I do not often have many mantis nymphs available for sale,
anything that is left over i put up for sale. All conditions will apply to those orders and be backed by D-Place. We do our best to ship
orders out as soon as possible after your order has been placed, but it may take up to 2-4 business days. If the species or item is
not ready to ship, i will not post sell it until it is. We ship orders Monday through Thursday depending on were you live. If you
need your order delivered on a specific day, please let us know. Please be advised that most of our mantids are sold before they can
even be sexed. We do our best to send you the gender you request but it is not gauranteed. We guarantee live arrival on next day air
only. If you receive any Dead On Arrival's, please take a few photos of the dead mantis and Email them or Send as a Comment. I
replace Dead On Arrival's free, but you will have to pay all shipping charges. If that particular species is no longer available,
I will offer to replace for Dead On Arrival's with another species or issue a refund. We ship orders through USPS. Priority shipping
can be arranged, and although deaths are rare, live arrival's is only guaranteed through next day shipping. Also note that next day

Terms of Sale
Mantis nymphs from this site are sold as pets only. Please do not release them into the wild. They are not for pest
control. If you are looking to purchase nymphs for pest control, please consult me for this countries native species. We often carry
local species ootheca to be hatched and used as a natural pest control. I know it would be nice to have lots of orchid mantids on the
orchid flowers in your garden, or Rose mantids in your rose garden, but it is highly illegal to release any non-native mantis species i
nto the wild. I get many emails from people wanting to do such things and little do they realize the potential damage this could cause.
It is quite disappointing to see the lack of care for the environment some people have. If you have trouble finding ootheca for your
garden locally, please feel free to Contact me.
General Terms of Business
The general terms of business, called TOB, are valid. The TOB are valid for all future business connections and third party
suppliers. D-Place reserves the right of price changes.
1. Liability and Guarantee
Queries could only take place at the day of arrival. The customer agrees to set his pets together with pets of other suppliers
in one terrarium if there is no other choice. There is no guarantee of live arrival of the animals by post dispatch. The customer
takes on the full burden of prooving for all claim conditions, especially the fault itself. We do not accept responsibility for goods
if they were damaged by the customers themselves. The customer takes the full burden if D-Place is not notified the day of arrival on
all pets, feeders, and supplies.
2. Prices, Settlement, and Default of Payment
All prices are in USD and a 5% addition to all purchases. Price changes reserved. The prices agreed upon include the Tax
required by law. Transport costs and packing will be charged on expenditure separately. The customer takes on all transportation costs.
This is also valid for further deliveries and substitutes. The invoices are payable by collection in either mail order or paypal only.
3. Delivery, Delivery Time, and Transfer of Risk
When a delivery is refused, D-Place is entitled to demand the full amount of the invoice as compensation. D-place is entitled
to make part deliveries. The transmission of risk enter with the handling over to the customer or with the delivery of the goods to the
carrier or transporter.
4. Final close
All modifications leading to changes in the general conditions are valid only when accepted by me in writing. Verbal
agreements are not valid. The right of cancellation is impossible.
